Mr . Jose Bustillo started working as a Senior Auditor for Kevane Grant Thornton, LLP from 2001 to 2003. He worked with clients in the manufacturing, shopping malls, franchises, pharmaceuticals, dealerships and non-profit industries. He trained and supervised associate staff in multiple engagement locations.
Mr. Bustillo worked as a Supervising Senior Auditor for KPMG, LLP, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mr. Bustillo was the In-charge auditor for Medical Card System, Inc, MCS Life Insurance Company, MCS HMO, Inc and MCS Advantage, Inc (Medicare Advantage) for the audit years ended December 31, 2003 to 2005. In addition, he was the In-charge auditor for the sale-purchase transaction between Medicare y Mucho Mas (MMM), island largest Medicare Advantage provider and PMC Medicare Choice, Inc (PMC), island second largest Medicare Advantage provider during the year 2006. Finally and after purchase transaction of PMC Medicare Choice materialized by MMM, Mr. Bustillo was the Supervising Senior Auditor for Medicare y Mucho Mas (MMM) and PMC Medicare Choice (PMC) for the year ended December 31, 2006.
Mr. Bustillo joined BDO Puerto Rico/USVI, LLC in April 2007 as Audit Manager. He was the head trainer for the firm in all accounting and auditing related areas. Industry specialization includes:

Mr. Bustillo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrations with an Accounting Major from Sacred Heart University, and, since 2000, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Technical Reviewer of the Puerto Rico and the AICPA Peer Review Committees of the Puerto Rico Certified Public Accountants Association.
